Export a Deck

Use this page when you need an offline copy of a deck.

Current Rule

  • The native deck is a React/Spectacle app.
  • Offline export is a downstream packaging step.
  • Do not change the deck design just to satisfy an export format.

Typical Export Uses

  • Meeting room with weak or no network
  • Email attachment
  • Review copy for someone outside the live app flow
  • Print or PDF circulation
  1. Start from the live deck app.
  2. Confirm the deck content is final enough to freeze.
  3. Produce the offline package needed for the situation.
  4. Label the export with date and version.

Important Distinction

  • The live React/Spectacle deck remains the primary product.
  • The exported file is a convenience copy for distribution.
